Kmart's Rise Challenge For Their Risewear Line


Our team managed press, celebrity outreach and launch public relations for the exclusive Rise Challenge held by Kmart. It featured a series of interactive fan-focused sporting entertainment events such as dunking competitions between the world's largest NBA players in Kmart parking lots across the country. This challenge promoted the big box retailer’s biggest athleisure line. ​The collection included cost-friendly styles for the entire family.


We handled the press line and red carpet that boasted appearances by celebrity athletes like Nick Young and Floyd Mayweather. Our team also activated socially with exclusive Snapchat content for FOX Sports.​​ In order to continue the launch’s momentum, our team spearheaded a cross country press tour with Kmart. ​


We secured event attendance and coverage from prominent outlets, such as E!, People, Us Weekly, Life & Style, InTouch, Celebuzz, Just Jared and FOX Sports. Our team was able to create enough hype and buzz around both the competitions and footwear line to make it a guaranteed success.
